Deepika moves from SRK to Salman
It is going to be Deepika Padukone opposite Salman Khan in Partner 2.
The actress has been selected to play the lead role in the film opposite the hunky actor after she expressed her desire to work with him.
“Who doesn’t want to work with Salman Khan? He is one of the best looking actors inthe film industry and I love the way he performs on the screen as well. It will be good fun to work with him,” says the dusky damsel.
Deepika is also the heroine of the sequel Krissh opposite Hrithik Roshan and we are sure that the time is ripe for this actress to blossom!
Kareena set to romance five men at a time
Kareena Kapoor has bagged a role of a lifetime. Bebo, who has earlier given hits like Omkara, Jab We Met and 3 Idiots, is set to play a role that is very much inspired by none other than the famous Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.
Reports are there that Kareena has been approached by Madhur Bhandarkar to play the lead in an untitled movie that will be based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. Madhur Bhandarkar has always been fascinated by Marilyn Monroe and was keen to do a film on her life from a long time. Now, when Madhur has done with all his intensive research on the Monroe’s life, he has started looking out to finalize the male casts for the movie.
If reports are to be believed, Kareena will be seen romancing not one, not two, but five men in the movie.
Seems like, Kareena is following Priyanka’s foorstep as in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’.
Katrina will not ‘Kiss’!!
Katrina Kaif has roped in to play the lead in the Dostana sequel. But this has however made KJo and Tarun Masukhani to go under dilemma as they are facing a big challenge to decide a new look for the actress.
Whatever the producer, director and stylist respectively come up with, they realize that this has been done before with Priyanka Chopra in Dostana… right from beachwear’s to sarees.
Another issue that adds to it is that Dostana sequel moves completely away from Miami and shifts to London. As London has always been a common spot for the Bollywood industry, there is not a single location spared in the capital that Indian moviegoers aren’t familiar with. Also, the film won’t go anywhere near beaches; Katrina need not have fear about any kind of exposure.
As for kissing scenes, the kiss is again between Abhishek and John.
Asin to romance Salman Khan
It’s confirmed that Asin Thottumkal is Salman Khan’s leading lady in Anees Bazmee’s remake of the Telugu hit “Ready”. It was never Deepika Padukone, as reported in a section of the press.
”Asin plays the lead. I wonder where Deepika’s name came from!!” says director Bazmee currently preparing for a month-long shooting of his Anees also denies the story that Salman asked him to sign Asin.
“The role requires a ‘chulbuli’, vivacious, talkative and agile girl. Asin was the natural choice.”
Having failed to play something different in London Dreams, Asin is back to doing the Ghajini act again viva la vivacious!
Endhiran aka Robot : Ash, Rajnikanth experiment with 3D
The superstar Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starring Endhiran also known as Robot has been under production for some time now. News is that Shankar plans to invest 125 cr. to make the film into 3D in order to curb piracy.The film is set to release before year end. Besides this Rajnikanth is also doing an animation film which would be converted into 3D. Ocher Studios-Adlabs-Warner Bros venture Sultan, The Warrior is rumoured to have already crossed Rs. 600 million in its making.
Is everything fine between Rani and Shahrukh???
Rani and Shahrukh bonded with each other on the sets of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and since then they have done couple of films together and have been best of friends. But recently Rani is not seen in any of the parties. So people started speculating, whether anything is wrong between them or not? But Rani cleared the air and said that she was not in town when all these parties happened.
Rani even said that she is friends with all the three Khans as all of them have inspired her in some way or other. Especially for Shahrukh Khan, she said that she has been a fan of Shahrukh since childhood.

Katrina Kaif’s head starts bleeding on sets of ‘Tees Maar Khan’
Katrina Kaif is the lady whose stars are all in the wrong directions, it seems. Diseases, illnesses and accidents have become a daily bread for Katrina Kaif who is having hectic as well as vulnerable phase these days.
Not in the pink of health (she passed off last week on a film set), she met with an accident again and this time her co-star Akshay Kumar was responsible. Its o happened that during a song for which the sexy hotties were waltzing, Akshay’s jaw struck Katty’s head and she started to bleed.
Next, she began feeling dizzy and a truant Akshay heightened her fear factor by pronouncing that she would need a minimum of 4 stitches. This made Kat shed tears as she began to cry but soon a laughing Akki calmed her down and ceased pulling her legs.
By the way, the injury was a minor one that didn’t cause much trouble. Only a slight bruise and Katrina was up on her toes once more.
Poor Katty is going through loads of pain these days. But my dear Katz if there is no pain no gain.
Hrithik and Shahrukh are best buddies now!
It took almost a decade for two of the Bollywood’s superstars to put their egos apart and enter into a bond based on ‘pure love’.
A decade before when Hrithik’s Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and SRK’s Mohabbatein was released, the two were hardly in talking terms then. Reportedly, the duo was sharing some cold vibes for the reason they only know.
However, things are no more same between them. Shahrukh and Hrithik have now become one of the best friends of the industry.
“We have our wives to thank for this. Gauri and Sussane are very close. And yes, in a way they have brought Shahrukh and me closer. We have become very close and have partied together so often. We have celebrated each other’s successes and also each other’s failures. Shahrukh and I are just happy friends and we look for every little excuse to spend time with each other,” says Hrithik.
Aishwarya throws tantrums
Few weeks ago, Priyanka Chpora reportedly drove designer, bananas with her costume demands.
Now the next actress to throw tantrums is Aishwarya Rai.
Some designer had made a skin tight outfit for Ash. It was tight and one of the designer’s female assistant was trying to pull out the tight garment over Ash, but she stood there standstill refusing to help.
Though when she walked the ramp, Ash was looking stunning, but poor designers had to go through all the tantrums.
Uff! I really pity these poor Designers….
Priyanka spotted in burqa!
Priyanka Chopra who is currently shooting in Srinagar for her upcoming flick Saat Khoon Maaf was seen in an entirely new avatar.
Birdies have informed that Piggy Chops had worn a burqa as she is playing a muslim lady for a scene. The shooting was done under tight security keeping tourists at distance.
The flick is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, where Priyanka is playing wife to seven husbands and she keeps killing them one by one.
I wonder how the movie is gonna be like…
Priyanka to shoot Khatron Ke Khiladi – 3 in Brazil
Chopra would be shooting in Brazil for Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi – 3. She has never visited that part of the world. And she’s all set to leave in July.
Says Priyanka excitedly,
“I’m looking forward to shooting the show there. I haven’t seen Brazil. So July onwards I’m going to be basking in Brazilian territory.”
Priyanka says she will be more than up to cracking what’s seen to be a male domain.
“Just because I’m a girl it shouldn’t be presumed that I can’t enter the boys’ territory. I’d do the stunts better than the boys. And cricketers are people I’m very cool with. Not that I know the cricket world that well. It will be great getting to know them.”
Priyanka has her own stunts planned for Fear Factor.
“All I can tell you is that the stunts this year are going to be bigger and scarier than they were on the show last year .Now we’ve male contestants instead of female and I’ve to match up to them.”
Katrina to play an “Item Girl”!!
Katrina says she always wanted to freak out on camera and get wild and this time she is getting that chance in Tees Maar Khan. She is set to play an item girl.
Right now in order to get the proper thumkhe jhumke of typical bollywood item dance she is watching videos of Bipasha and Mumtaaz.
Her behavior, her language everything will be loud and aggressive. These days Akshay is training her to shed the inhibitions before camera.

Aamir gets insulted on Twitter
Internet addicts have found a brand new way of insulting actors – by hurling abuses on their social networking sites, blogs or even homepages.
Their accounts on Twitter started their own websites or began writing blogs.
Take the case of actor Aamir Khan. The actor recently faced one of the most venomous abuses when someone posted a message on his website questioning Aamir’s post where he talks about one of the most painful experiences of his life – his wife Kiran Rao’s miscarriage. The person inferred that it was just a publicity stunt. Without reporting the person, Aamir just said,
“Whoever you are, may God help you.”
Even actor Amitabh Bachchan has been through a similar situation.
“Yes, there are some posts and responses that are not shown on my blog. It is because they are unfit for postings,” says Amitabh.
His blog team also revealed that only 25% of the total posts (in response to Bachchan’s blog posts) are allowed to be visible on his home page. Most of the responses are removed because they are abusive, contain foul language or arespam postings.
Actor Preity Zinta has also been at the receiving end of this menace. She says,
“I want to make my rules very clear. If you can’t write nice things, then please don’t come on to my page. It’s my page, it’s my home. So, here my own rules apply. I will not take rubbish from other people here,”
Because of this menace some actors are still wary of opening an account on the Internet.
Zarine is scared of Salman Khan
Salman is definitely Zarine’s Godfather as he launched her in one of the mega project. He takes an active interest in her career and gets her the best of people to guide her.
But Zarine is tongue-tied at the very sight of Salman Khan. She does not even speak a word when he is around.

Arshad Warsi has finally accepted that his marriage is under pressure. With rumours doing the rounds about his alleged affair with his co-star Dia Mirza, there’s tension in the home front. Priyanka is truly a “desi girl”
When most of the actors would give anything to get even a minute’s role in a Hollywood flick, our “desi-girl” Priyanka Chopra turned down a Hollywood offer. She was offered a role in Dawn of War, however, she refused it. The reason was not the script or her role. According to the sources, the dates of Dawn of Warclashed with that of Vishal Bhardwaj’s next venture, Saat Khoon Maaf. The leggy beauty chose to be a part of the Indian movie instead of being starred opposite the British actor Henry Cavill.
All we can say is that she is one actress who knows her priorities.
Sharman Joshi does an SRK
It seems that the after-effects of the grand success of “3 Idiots” has started showing on Sharman Joshi. The cute looking “Idiot” was roped in by the big-wigs of the advertisement world – Nokia and Airtel. With 5 Airtel and 1 Nokia ad, Sharman Joshi is soon following the way of SRK. The Bollywood Badshah did endorse for both the companies along with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
We can see the witty and naughty Sharman in the ads and there’s an instant connection with him. Sharman is surely going the SRK way- first the movies, then the endorsements. What’s next Sharman, an IPL team??
Shahid over Hritik for Khan
Shahid Kapoor’s dancing skills became obvious to the world when he gave a stupendous performance at the 55th Filmfare Award function. His act was a tribute to the legendary dance icon- Micheal Jackson and left the audience spell-bound. People are already started the speculation that the Kaminey star will soon take the place of Hritik Roshan as the best dancer of Bollywood.
Ahman Khan, the famous choreographer, feels that Shahid knows the technicalities of dancing, that makes his movements interesting. Khan confesses that he finds Kapoor’s dances more enjoyable and better than the performances of Roshan or Devaa. Now that’s some comparison, we would say!!!
A Field Day For Kundra And Shetty
Oh boy, what a match! It seems that Raj Kundra’s tattered pair of jeans has finally done the trick! Shilpa Shetty looked all-glowing after the stupendous performance of her boys. She must be one proud owner after the terrific victory of Rajasthan Royals over the Deccan Chargers. Not only Shilpa but her kid sister Shamita Shetty too was super hyper.
She revealed, when asked, that she chanted Moola mantra for the success of her team. Whereas, Shilpa wore the lucky No.10 jersy as lucky charm. We don’t know whether the tattered jeans, Moola mantra or the No.10 did the trick. Whatever it is, there’s celebration time for the Kundras and the Shettys.
Aby Baby to save the Earth
Abhishek Bachchan is all geared up to observe the Earth hour on the 27th of March 2010 between 8.30 p.m and 9.30 p.m. He urged everyone to “switch off the lights” and “switch on our minds”. Abhishek Bachchan launched WWF’s Earth Hour 2010 at World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) office, along with Sheila Dixit.
When asked by a reporter what he would do if he sees light on at someplace, Aby Baby replied that he would personally go and switch it off. Now that’s what we call a real “dostana” with the Earth. Well done Ab(ba)y!!!
Big B joins the Bandwagon
When Beta Bachchan is doing his bit for the world, can Papa Bachchan be left behind? The megastar has joined the bandwagon to save the big cats. “Save the tiger” campaign, a joint initiative by Aircel and NDTV, will see Big B as its campaign ambassador. He expressed his concern over the dwindling number of tigers in his blog. With just 1411 tigers left, this surely calls for an action.
Other celebrity to be associated with saving our “national pride” is the Indian skipper M.S Dhoni. With two big names from the two passionate religions in India-Bollywood and cricket, we are sure about the campaign’s success.
Ness Wadia can’t tolerate Preity Zinta!!
We know that Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia have parted their ways. And of latest we hear, Ness is ready to sell off his stakes for the IPL team Kings XI Punjab which he co-owns.
He said, “We are open to selling stake if we feel that there are investors who can bring in not only financial but also strategic value to the business. I would say a good value to be somewhere around $250-300 million and it (stake sale) also depends on who the investor would be.”
According to the reports, Videocon has showed interest in buying the stakes.
It seems Ness just can’t tolerate even a sight of Preity after their breakup. It has been learnt that during the IPL matches of their team if Preity stood in dug out, Ness was seen far in VVIP box. They have been trying to avoid each other every time. And now finally, Ness has decided to sell his stakes.
