Salman Khan ignores Kats

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif don not share the same old chemistry any more, which at one point of time was exemplary.

Buzz is that Salman recently ignored Katrina at a marriage ceremony giving rise to a no of questions about their relationship. In the recent past too, there have been occasional rumors about their break up’s and patch up’s, though Katrina has denied all this flatly.

So, what could explain the latest incident of Salman and Katrina avoiding each other in public then?

Guess all is not well between the two.

Salman in Farah’s Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na sequels??

We all know by now that the once upon a time best friends, Shah Rukh and Farah khan, are not as thick as they were.

Farah chose Akshay over SRK for Tees Maar Khan. Now, news is that, she might work with Salman Khan for her next movie.

Salman and Farah have been close buddies since a long time. Their friendship was very evident when recently, Salman Khan came as a guest judge on a dance reality show which Farah judges.

Salman then wittily quipped that he had been selected for the lead role in the sequel of Farah’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’.

Farah has also not denied it. She responded by saying he would be in the sequels.
Though it was a joke between them, it was a little difficult for SRK to swallow it.

When members of the media asked SRK about this, he chose to ignore it and remained mum on the issue. SRK was jovial earlier and answering all the questions with his usual wit and charm but the colour drained from his face when asked about Farah and Salman.

Shahid cannot part ways with Priyanka

Did you know, Bollywood’s chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor, is a very emotional guy???

Well, yes!! He is, and especially when it comes to Piggy Chops, he gets all the more emotional. So much that he cannot decide on buying a new property just because he doesn’t want to part ways with his best buddy – Piggy Chops who is his neighbour too.

According to reports, Shahid Kapoor planned to buy a bigger apartment but is delaying the move, since he cannot imagine parting ways with Priyanka. So, right now, Shahid has put the plans on hold.

Well, looks like Shahid and Priyanka share a very stong and unbreakable bond together.

Katrina has a heart of gold

Katrina Kaif, not only has a beautiful face but also a beautiful heart. Her beauty is not just skin deep. She proved this by showing her kind gesture on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

The pretty Bollywood princess gave Rs. 5 lakh to the unit members on the last day of shooting of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. That was her way of thanking the workers for the effort they put in to making the film.

Says Katrina, “Rajkumar Santoshi is a tough taskmaster and it wasn’t rare for shooting to extend beyond 14-15 hours a day. When we actors used to get tired, you can imagine how tiresome it must’ve been for the workers, who do physical labour. I was just acknowledging their hard work.”

Well, if any other actor would’ve done this, she would, in all probability, ensure that it was covered by the media so that her action got noticed. But our Kats is unique and special in everyway.

Kareena the new Paro

“Dhruv won’t be complete without Kareena as the contemporary Paro” says director Sudhir Mishra.

Dhruv is a modern version of Devdas, and Farhan Akhtar and Sudhir both want to have Kareena in it. Sudhir decided that he will not make Dhruv until Kareena gives it a nod.

“Only Kareena fits the bills and I am also willing to go down on my knees to get a yes from the actresses.” says Sudhir.

Keeping Bebo in mind, the entire movie was written. “She can’t refuse it.” He adds

“Devdas is now Dhruv and Paro is Pooja. It’s now more like Shakespeare’s Hamlet than Devdas”

First look of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara…

Zoya Akhtar is all set to come up with a new filck, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD). She has got not one, not two, not three, and not even four but a whopping six lead actors in her next film. The cast of this multi-starrer are Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Spanish actress Ariadna Cabrol and the svelte Kalki Koechlin.

The entire cast associated with this film is tight-lipped about this project.

Rumours are that, this film may just be a sequel to the 2001 block buster Dil Chahta Hai.

The shoot of the film gets underway in Spain on June 7.

This is a sneak peak of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The very look of it tells me that this movie is gonna rock.. What do you think???

Sonam in daddy’s next flick

News is that, Anil Kapoor is keen on making a Bollywood version of Walt Disney Productions movie Freaky Friday. He has even bought the remake rights of the film. He will produce it under his banner and it will star his daughter Sonam Kapoor. The movie originally starred Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.

It is comic drama revolving around a mother and daughter whose personas get interchanged.
Reveals a source close to the actor,

“When he was in Los Angeles recently for the wrap-up party of his TV series 24, Anil met up with Disney officials to discuss the deal. It was his beti Sonam who suggested that he remake the film. Just the paperwork needs to be signed. The film will start this year-end, once all the negotiations are complete.”

Wonder who would be the mommy?

While Sonam will play the daughter’s role, Anil is keen to have Kiron Kher play the mother’s part. Source reveals,

“Kirron has turned down the role citing date problems but relations between the Khers and the Kapoors have been strained, and that could well be the reason for this snub. The other names that the actor is toying with are Rekha and Shabana Azmi.The film will be directed by Priyadarshan.”
Anil was unavailable to comment.

SRK misses best friend Juhi Chawla

Bollywood badshah, Sharukh Khan is missing Juhi Chawla a lot. He misses all those initial days of his career, when he acted with her. He also misses director Aziz Mirza.

Shah Rukh and Juhi together gave hits like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992), Yes Boss (1997) and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000) under the direction of Aziz Mirza.

Shah Rukh also started a production house called Dreamz Unlimited with Juhi and Mirza as partners and produced films like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Chalte Chalte under the banner.

“Last night (I) was thinking wot (what) beautiful times I had making ‘Yes Boss’…’Raju Ban Gaya (Gentleman)’…’Phir Bhi Dil Hai (Hindustani)’… missing Aziz (Mirza) and Juhi (Chawla),” Shah Rukh wrote on his Twitter page.

The 44-year-old was last seen with Juhi in Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Bhoothnath, a comedy directed by Vivek Sharma.

Genelia asks Ritiesh to get out!!

By now we are all aware that, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were dating each other since some time, and have now split.

Recent grapevine is that Ritiesh is seeing his Aladin co-star Jacqueline Fernandes. Though all these rumours were denied by Ritesh, Genelia and Jacqueline , yet things are not clear at all.

Recently, Ritiesh visited Genelia on the set where Genelia was shooting, and were comfortably chatting, when soon their friendly chat turned into a heated argument. Later, Genelia asked Ritiesh to walk out.

Well, we can only keep guessing what went wrong.

Kareena skips Cheryl Cole’s party

The Bollywood stars are usually camera happy and love to be photographed with international celebs. But, Bollywood’s Bebo is an exception. She declined an invitation to meet Cheryl Cole at Cannes.

Says a source close to Kapoor,

“Bebo was to attend the international film festival. Cole was already there to perform a 30-minute set at a party thrown by luxury jewellery firm de Grisogono on May 18 at the Hotel du Cap.The singer had performed in front of a star-studded crowd including Naomi Campbell and fashion heir Margherita Missoni. The organisers heard that Cole was keen on meeting the Indian actress and an invitation for the A-List event was sent out to her.”

The source adds that Kareena, who’s shooting for Golmaal 3 in Goa, had to give it a miss.

“Though her managers were informed of the invitation, Bebo herself had to turn it down as the Golmaal 3 schedule in Goa had been fixed months ago and they were shooting the film’s climax with the entire cast (20 people in all). There was no way she could have opted out and made it to the party in France.”

Says Bebo, “I was invited to attend Cheryl’s party but was in Goa and overworked. Of course, it would have been fun to go and I would have loved to attend. I love her songs and was very keen on meeting her. Maybe I’ll meet her if I go to Cannes next year.”

Vidya has become a pariah in bollywood

Looks like, all the Bollywood’s wives and girlfriends are insecure of Vidya Balan.

The Parineeta actress is known to have been linked with almost all her co-stars leaving her embarrassed on several occasions. Sadly these link-ups are affecting her professional life too.

Vidya’s track record of getting linked to her male co-stars is working against her.

Bips warned her boyfriend John Abraham not to work with Vidya after Salaam-e-Ishq.
So John has turned down the offer to star in Vidya’s latest movie. Even Bobby Deol, has refused the offer of working opposite her.

Either the Bollywood ladies are insecured of Vidy or the actors themselves are scared of her stealing their thunder on screen

When asked if she and Ranbir were really seeing each other, she very politely answers,

“Well I have to commend you for your directness and fearless approach to question…”

Sr Bachchan congratulates King Khan for his Twitter achievement!!

Bollywood’s legend Amitabh Bachchan, who joined Twitter a week back, congratulated actor Shah Rukh Khan for having as many as 400,000 followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

“Congrats!! You crossed 400,000… meri gaadi thoda dheeli chal rahi hai (I’m at a slower pace at the moment),” the 67-year-old posted on his Twitter page.

Amitabh, who has become twitter addict now, has 98,228 followers till date.

ACTION REPLAYY: Akshay takes Aishwarya on a ride…

Director Vipul Shah gets the super cool Jodi Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Raitogether for his film ACTION REPLAYY. ACTION REPLAYY is a retro cool film that is high on style quotient and emotionally rewarding too.

Shah Rukh Khan down with 104 F , but still goes on to do an Ad

The Badshah of bollywood Shah Rukh Khan was recently down with high temperature. But the King Khan, known for his professionalism, didn’t want it to bog him down and went ahead with his Pepsodent ad shoot.

Being the new brand ambassador for Pepsodent toothpaste, Shah Rukh in spite of having fever, made sure it didn’t affect the shooting schedules. A source says that he made sure to make it a point to shoot the ad instead of canceling it.

The Ad is about a father-son relationship. With cute child artist Keval playing the role of the son, Shah Rukh had to give multiple shots till the young artist got it right. But never to complain, Shah Rukh behaved like the perfect dad and totally encouraged his son.

Way to go Shah Rukh “papa Ho tho Aise”…

Bong Beauty Bipasa Basu Out of Raavan

Bips, our very own dusky beauty lost her role in Raavan as Mandodari (Raavan’s wife in ramayana) just because the star cast was supposedly top heavy. Let’s just see, with Ash- Abhi, south super star Vikram and Mr. Chubby cheeks Govinda around….we can just about imagine how heavy it could get! But hold on…didn’t Bips recently release her very own fitness video!!

Sources reveal that, poor Bips was all dressed up in her costume and just when she was about to leave for the shoot, her phone beeps saying that she’s been dumped for the movie! <..sigh..>

Well Bips, we are sad that you are not part of Raavan..but we are definitely looking forward to see you in Dum Maro Dum. Kudos to you girl.

Ajay Devgn seeking for Neeti?

Apparently Ajay Devgn is all upset with his buddy Prakash jha for not including him in the promo’s of the much controversial film ‘Raajneeti’. Like you can see poor AJ has been missing from all of the promos and te focus has been more on the lovey-dovey hotties Ranbir kapoor and bollywood’s top beauty Katrina Kaif (not that we are complaining).

One of the sources revealed that Mr. AJ didn’t react first. But later on when it became much apparent about promoting Ranbir-Kats romantic angle that he was believed to have said Prakash Jha that “the movie is promoted as a romantic filmwhile essentially the film is a political one”. Ajay didn’t want the audience to be cheated into thinking that the film is a romantic one. How noble of Ajay.

Ajay’s friend thinks that ‘he had been taken for granted’ ..with this and other ‘bla- bla’ finally Mr. Jha has got to say this “I love Ajay as much as I love myself and can never sideline him. I don’t think there’s any issue”. Well, we sure hope so too.
