Neil’s first lip lock on screen

Bollywood’s Mr. conservative, Neil Nitin Mukesh had no choice but to succumb to a liplock for Yashraj Films’ ‘Lafange Parindey’. Deepika Padukone had kissed Saif Ali Khan on screen, but this was completely new to Neil.

The scene had Neil do a long, lingering kissing with Deepika. Director Pradeep Sarkar and Deepika had to use every possible power of persuasion before Neil abandoned his chastity vow.

“At first Neil was totally against the kiss with Deepika. He had refused to kiss in all his films,” said a source close to the project.

“He first suggested a peck. But was finally persuaded to do a long, torrid smooch comparable in intensity and duration with Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor’s kiss in ‘Raja Hindustani’”, adds the source.

When contacted, Neil said: “I can’t talk about this. But, yes, we’ve gone completely by the requirements of the script. And ‘Lafange Parinde’ is my first love story.”

Waow!! I simply love what Aish’s wearing. So simple, casual and pretty. Abhi, too, looks great. Didn’t like his shoes though. But the two as a couple, look lovely together. The entire Bachchan family was in Rome recently.

Dev Anand to remake ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’

Bollywood’s evergreen actor Dev Anand said that he was going to remake his 1971 hit ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ very soon.

“I will make another version of ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ in Nepal very soon. The script is ready. People want another ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ I know that,” Dev Anand told reporters at the first look of his directorial venture ‘Chargesheet’ at the JW Marriott hotel in Mumbai.

“If people can make remakes, make biopics, why can’t there be a remake of this film… The film will be made keeping in perspective the present generation,” the actor said, adding that his film was about drugs and hippies and the former was still a factor.

The legendary filmmaker was not disheartened in spite of his last few directorial ventures ‘Censor’ (2001), ‘Love at Times Square’ (2003) and ‘Mr Prime Minister’ (2005) sank at the box office without a trace.

Dev Anand also spoke of his classic ‘Hum Dono’, which is being released in a colour version.

“The film ‘Hum Dono’ has been coloured and it will be out very soon. It looks fantastic, as if it has been shot in colour.”

Priyanka goes grungy for ‘Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi 3′

Priyanka Chopra is the host for Colors’ adventure reality show ‘Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi 3′ and she is all set to sport a grungy look for the show.

The Dostana actress was dressed in denim pants teamed with a broad belt, knee-length boots, a cropped yellow top with a black leather biker jacket and gloves for the first promo.

Her look has been created by Bollywood stylist and fashion designer Anaita Shroff Adajania, who earlier styled for the ‘Dhoom’ franchise.

Priyanka was in Bangkok recently to shoot the promo.

The first look is expected to air on the channel early next week. It shows Priyanka in a chase sequence on bikes with male bikers.

‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 3′ will have 13 male celebrities competing against each other on dangerous tasks in Brazil.

Dabangg shows Salman with stylish new moves

Not everyone swears by Salman Khan’s dancing skills, and Shabina Khan Ansari, the choreographer for Salman in the upcoming movie Dabangg, indeed had a task cut out for herself while filming the songs composed by Sajid-Wajid.

According to Shabina Khan, “Salman surrenders to the vision of a choreographer, but also gives a lot of his own inputs. Not just that, Salman always does the dance steps in his own unique style.”

“This is not the first time I am working with Salman. I’ve worked with him even earlier when I used to be an assistant with Ganesh Acharya. But now he has changed; today he is technically stronger. He also gives his inputs for steps,”Shabina Khan Ansari said.

Ansari has choreographed two songs in the film, a romantic track and a hardcore dance number. She gave Salman steps suiting his character.

“I created steps for Salman keeping in mind his character and image. He is playing a cop in the film, so I didn’t want his moves to be professional like a dancer’s. He plays a straightforward person in the film; we kept all that in mind,” said the choreographer.

Directed by Abhinav Kashyap, ‘Dabangg’ introduces Sonakshi Sinha opposite Salman. The movie has been produced by Arbaaz Khan.

Kangna lets the cat out of the bag!!!

The story of ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI has some reality in it. Kangna has admitted that the character of Rehana which she plays in is indeed based on a real actress who existed in the 70s. Her name was Sona and though no one knows where she is today, she was the love interest of Haji Mastan (a Mumbai based don on whom Ajay Devgn’s character is based).

“Well, I have been told that Haji Mastan was in love with this girl called Sona”, Kangna says in a hush-hush tone, “She was a Madhubala look-alike and a struggler during the 70s. She had worked in this film called KACHCHE DHAAGE that starred Vinod Khanna and Moushumi Chatterjee. When Haji Mastan and Sona met, they became romantically involved. He even went on to make a movie for her.”

While producer Ekta Kapoor and director Milan Luthria are officially not quite declaring ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI to be the real life tale of Haji Mastan or Dawood Ibrahim, it was pretty much obvious to one and all that the comparisons were not coincidental by any means. The question that was fast making the rounds was that whose story was being played by Kangna Ranaut? Is it Meena Kumari or Mudhabala by any chance???

“As such there is no particular reference point. As for the actresses that you mention, how can you even think of that? Haji Mastan and Madhubala belonged to a different period altogether. While Haji Mastan was active in the decade of 70s, Meena Kumari used to act during 50s and 60s. There can’t be any connection at all so where was the question of my character being based on Madhubala at all?” said the actress.

What is Akshay hiding from wife Twinkle???

Well, the latest that we hear is that, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra who have not done a film together after Akki’s wife Twinkle asked him to stay away from the girl are now in touch through phone.

A source close to the actress informs, “Priyanka and Akshay, are regularly in touch through phone and they often call or SMS each other.” 
We all know that Aki’s friendship with Piggy Chops is not acceptable to Twinkle. She had also incorporated a clause on all of Akshay’s film contracts that Akshay will not do a film with Priyanka.

The obedient husband Akki, stuck to his wife’s demand but has always been in touch with Priyanka.

Sonakshi owes it all to Salman

Every time Salman introduces a new girl in Bollywood; he makes it a point to be her teacher, guide and philosopher till she has built a strong foundation in the industry.
It first started with Katrina Kaif, followed by Zarine Khan and this time it is Sonakshi Sinha. Salman is the one who’s responsible for turning the chubby Sonakshi into the svelte damsel that she’s today.

Sonakshi had to really sweat out while shooting in Panchgani for Dabangg with Salman. Their hotel was quite a distance from the shooting location and Salman often used to make Sonakshi walk from the shooting site to hotel at the end of the day. He had even set up a gym there and would invite Sonakshi to work out with him.

Salman also kept a carefully watch on Sonakshi’s diet. Oily and fatty food was strictly prohibited to her. She was only given salads to nibble on.

Today, the girl is in excellent shape and is thankful to Salman for making her go through the entire grind.

‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ new wallpapers…

Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’, stars Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. It is a period thriller and is based on the book ‘DO AND DIE’ by Manini Chatterjee, based on the Chittagong Uprising of 1930. The film is being shot in Goa. The music of the movie is being composed by academy award winner and composer A. R. Rahman.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 3rd Dec 2010.

Well it so happened that last week while shooting for a bullfight sequence in Pampelona, many matadors came to meet the actress and two of them even proposed to her. They were totally smitten by the girls charm and refused to leave the place until she met them.

Kareena-Deepika’s rivalry seems to have come to a stop for the time being. And this is all just for the sake of Saif Ali Khan’s home production flick. Well, if everything goes right, Deepika will be the second lead in Saif-Kareena starrer Agent Vinod.

Buzz is that producer Dinesh Vijan has approached Deepika for the second lead. Considering Deepika’s presence to be lucky for the film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ which was a huge success and lately Saif-Kareena starrer Kurbaan a flop affair, Vijan has taken this decision.

If sources are to be believed, Kareena was miffed over the fact that Imtiaz Ali who gave a new dimension to her career with Jab We Met chose Deepika instead of her in Love Aaj Kal which paired her beau Saif opposite Dippy.

Now, the question that arises here is, will Deepika respond to the offer positively and bury her differences with Bebo???

Salman sets an example for millions of fans..

Salman Khan set an example to millions of his fans recently by donating his blood in Maldives. The actor inaugurated the Medical Assistance Programme at the Children’s House in Villimale and later donated blood at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Dozens of fans of the actor gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of the star.
Salman is truly a man with a golden heart.

Lara walks the runway for Rina Dhaka

Former Miss Universe Lara Dutta was the showstopper on the ramp for fashion designer Rina Dhaka on the last day of the Delhi Couture Week. She looked gorgeous in a black lehenga with a crystal-embellished blouse.

Surprisingly, despite her years of modeling experience the Bollywood stunner still finds it challenging to be a showstopper. According to her, walking the ramp is quite a different experience as opposed to acting in Bollywood.

“It is a challenge to be a showstopper and not just a model walking down the ramp. Even if you are a celebrity, you have to do justice to the clothes you are wearing and the designer you are walking for,”. When you are used to doing the jhatkas and matkas, it becomes difficult to have a calm and composed walk down the ramp” quips Lara.

Rina’s collection was inspired by cobwebs and saw ample use of nets.

Deepika’s dinner date with…..

Actress Deepika Padukone is currently single, and is enjoying that status to the fullest. It was quite evident when she was recently spotted dining with Siddharth Mallya, son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya.

The duo was seen dining together at Indigo cafe at the Palladium.

It’s no secret that Deepika and Siddharth bonded very well during this year’s IPL season. The duo cheered the Bangalore team and were often clicked partying together at the after match bashes.

The two have so far maintained a ‘just friends’ stance, but when this friendship sprouts into love, one never knows.

According to sources, Anees Bazmee who directed Singh Is King will not be a part of the sequel, instead Vipul Shah himself will be directing the flick.Buzz is that, Shah is keen on repeating the successful onscreen pair of Akshay and Katrina, once again.

Bollywood hunk Salman Khan wants the dreaded Osama to watch the latest Bollywood flick, ‘Tere Bin Laden’, needless to add that Salman has loved this laughter chapter and was bursting into giggles every now and then throughout the film.

Salman who is known to speak his heart out had advised the notorious Osama Bin Laden to watch the flick.
He posted in popular social networking site, “Even Osama wud laugh. Obama shud keep a pvt screening for him.”

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Tere Bin Laden’ was recently released in cinemas across the country. The film is the story of an ambitious young reporter Ali, who gets hold of an Osama look alike and makes a fake Osama tape which he sells to the news channel to raise money so that he can migrate to USA.

Deepika not angry with Ranbir

In Bollywood, ex- lovers usually hate each other. But, as a pleasant surprise, Deepika and Ranbir are not enemies. They are not shy of talking about their past relationship. In fact, Deepika in a recent interview said that Ranbir is destined to become the future superstar of Bollywood. And she also said that she would love to act with Ranbir if the opportunity comes along.

“From the new generation, I think Ranbir will be the superstar in the next decade. He has the potential and passion for cinema,” Deepika is quoted to have said.

When asked if she’s open to working with Ranbir in another film, Deepika said she was looking forward to it.

I really wish to see them together on screen.
