Ever-green Rekha is envies the new generation actors because she feels that they are way ahead of what she used to be at their age.
She appreciates the present generation though.
“We had no clue of what we were doing. It took us a good 10 films to get our bearings. I’m so proud of Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) and the way she conducts herself. And for that matter Vidya Balan. She shone in her very first film, without any godfathers or film background. Fantastic! Look how Ranbir has carried the Kapoor legacy forward. I’ve so much to learn from them.”
Rekha believes that in today’s generation, talent comes naturally to them. Marketing themselves with no help from any side has impressed the actress to very large extent that she feels envious about them.
