The Allahabad High Court today, issued notices to Salman Khan and Anees Bazmi, the hero and director of the recently released film Ready, after receiving a PublicInterest Litigation (PIL) against the song ‘Character Dheela’ in the film.
The litigation also seeks a cancellation of the certification of ‘Ready’ and an eventual stay on the exhibition of the film.
The movie starring Salman Khan and Asin released on June 3.
The petitioner submitted that the song having ‘raas leela’ in its lyric, being aired on television channels is indecent and an attack on the Sanatan dharma.
It also clubbed similar petitions like on against Peepli Live, Onkara, Gangajal with this PIL.
