Nothing but the best will do forAishwarya Rai Bachchan. The lady has a certain aura and it has most people treating her like royalty. Even her directors are willing to bend backwards to accommodate her. Filmmaker Vipul Shah who is directing the lady in 'Action Replay' is an example of that.
According to sources, the director wanted his leading lady styled by the best so he turned to Hollywood to fulfil his desire. Shah zeroed in on Hollywood stylist and make up artist Paul Pattison to work on Ash's look for the movie. For those not in the know, the stylist has worked on Hollywood biggies like 'Braveheart', 'Mission Impossible' and stars like Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson. But the toughest thing was to synchronise the dates of Ash and Pattison, both of who are extremely busy. Ash is currently in town but very soon she will be immersed in the shooting of Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan'. It took a lot of doing but Shah managed somehow to set things up so that Pattison can fly down to Mumbai and do a session with Ash and the 'Action Replay' hero, Akshay Kumar. It seems that Pattison was tied up when Ash was free and so Shah had to actually request his Hollywood producers to release him for a few days. If he had not been able to arrange a meeting with Ash, he would have had to schedule it later and that would only have further delayed his movie.
