Salman Khan More Pics |
Salman was at the event to announce the second season of Dus Ka Dum, but that wasn’t the only thing on people’s minds. When asked whether he’s likely to get any of his friends on the show, he smirked, “Ab dost bache kahan hain?” that set the tone for the tete-a-tete. The next question hurled at him was about inviting SRK on his show, to which he calmly replied, “Sure, if the channel people can get him, it’ll be great,” and then as an afterthought he added, “It’ll be his good luck. And now that you asked me so much about him, ask me something about Aamir as well.” This seemed to be one of the rare occasions when the actor was in a good mood. But Salman said, “I am like this all the time, except when someone rubs me the wrong way.” Point noted, Salman. And despite all the charisma it wasn’t only because of Salman that so many telly actors had turned up here. This do was also about the shows that will be aired post the IPL fever.
Motor-mouth Mona Singh was the one doing all the talking, while Vishal Malhotra could only stand and stare. Anu Malek and Farah Khan were up to their usual banter. Farah who was probably keen to get back to her kids was overheard telling Anu to talk less so that they could leave soon. Eijaz Khan was seen at a telly do after a long time. Vivek Mushran too was present, but the fact that few recognised him and fewer clicked him couldn’t be ignored. Ali Asgar was at his funniest best at the event. We also spotted newbies Pooja Kanwal and Tejaswini who are all set to join the telly industry.
Despite the many actors present, it was Salman who was the centre of everyone’s attention. The actor proved that it was more than just muscle-power that has had the audience under his spell all these years.
