Hrithik spends new year’s bash with Barbara Mori…

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori continue to remain in touch, even after their much hyped film Kites has gone down the plughole.

Buzz is that, Hrithik is eagerly waiting to meet Barbara when he goes to the US at the end of this month to ring in 2011. Well, his gorgeous wife Sussanne and two lovely kids will accompany Hrithik. You may call it a family holiday in Las Vegas.

Now we hear that Sussanne and Barbara are thick as thieves and are most likely to be together for the biggest party of the year.

Hrithik too says he’s become indifferent to the rumours. So even as he admits that he might meet Barbara in Las Vegas, he’s unconcerned about the media raking up the rumours again.

Barbara Mori a cancer patient!!

Did you know that actress Barbara Mori was struck by cancer??? But this Mexican beauty was fortunate enough to survive it as the disease was diagnosed in its early stages.

Kites Director Anurag Basu and Barbara Mori are both cancer survivors, and bonded over that big time on the sets of Kites. About which Barbara has shared in Namrata Singh Gujral’s docu-drama titled 1 a Minute, to release in 2010.

Barbara Mori beat cancer only because of her strong will to survive and because she believes she still has a lot to give to this world.

Barbara Mori and her son to hit the big screen soon!!

Barbara Mori’s 12-year-old son Sergio will soon hit the big screen in a Mexican film, with his mommy.
The movie is being produced by Barbara’s production house.

After having shot her first Bollywood movie Kites, the actress now plans to concentrate on her regional films, rather than on Hollywood .

A source reveals that, Sergio is quite excited to face the camera.

“Sergio has been on the movie sets from quite an early age. He is looking forward to shooting with his mom.”

Sergio plays Barbara’s son in the film. The movie is about a single mother finding love, late in her life. It will showcase the mother-son bond between the two.

However, this isn’t the first time Barbara and Sergio will be facing the camera together. The two have previously done a commercial shoot for the global ‘Got Milk’ campaign.

Barbara’s next target, Badshah Khan!

The Mexican beauty Barbara Mori who will be seen opposite Hrithik in upcoming flick Kites says she would love to work with Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan.

After venturing into Bollywood and sharing good friendship with Hrithik’s wife Suzzane the actress says,

“My best friend in India is Sussanne Roshan. I am good friends with Hrithik too. But Sussanne really gets a bit personal when it comes to taking care of me. She will keep me at bay from the ‘do not do that’ or ‘do not go for that’ list.”

It was heard that Hrithik and Suzzane took Barbara to meet Shahrukh and wife Gauri to his Mannat. So what she felt about the actor,

“Shahrukh Khan was really nice as a host on that day and as a person. Shahrukh has got a very big heart. He takes care of his guests a lot.”

On being asked if she would like to work with SRK in future, she replies,

“Yes, I’d love to work with Shahrukh Khan. I haven’t seen any films of his but I can say he is a great actor from what I hear and have been told by Sussanne and Hrithik.”

Susanne Roshan and Hrithik Roshan recently joined the Twitter bandwagon like other celebs and Susanne also welcomed Hrithik’s co-star from Kites Barbara Mori on Twitter.

Welcoming Barbara, Sussanne tweeted, “Hola Chiquita, hey, sending you a big hug from India and all my followers…hey tweeple, my beautiful friend Barbara Mori.. welcome her!”

Barbara Mori, tweeted back, “Hey, baby! I can’t wait to go to India. I’m so excited. We will travel all over the world together! It’s going to be so much fun. Missing us from this part of the world….but see us soon!”

Barbara also talked about her co-star Hrithik on the social networking site, “I’m not as good as Hrithik. He is the best dancer ever… I think he is more beautiful inside than outside and he is very lucky to have a Sussanne in his life! Both are beautiful!”

She also wrote her dialogue from the movie on Twitter, which reads, “Mein ullu ki patthi hun… nice, isn’t? I love India! Thank you for the welcome. Send all of you my love…Smile and be happy cause life is wonderfull! Thank you all for all that love.”

Hrithik-Barbara sizzle in Kites

After My Name is Khan, the most awaited movie of the year 2010 is Hrithik Roshan starrer Kites. Kites is the story about an Indian guy who falls in love with a Latino girl and their love for each other transcends boundaries like language.

Hrithik is a Salsa teacher in Kites who falls for beautiful Barbara Mori, who is engaged with some other guy. Both run away for their love and that’s when the love story transforms into a thriller.
