Priyanka Chopra wiped off from Kaminey sequel…

While director Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor have joined hands for the sequel. But what came as a shock is the omission of Priyanka Chopra in the second part of the film, a role, which won the actress a numberof awards.

We hear that Vishal is working on the script of Kaminey 2, And the script apparently doesn’t have a role that will suit Priyanka. It is also heard that the flick won’t be a sequel in strict sense but a film with a fresh plot and story altogether.

According to a source, “Vishal is currently scripting Kaminey 2. He will first direct a film with Ajay Devgn to be co-produced by Devgn, Kumar Mangat and himself. He will then start working on Kaminey 2, for which Shahid will have to prepare once again.

Vishal wants Shahid to work on the six-pack look to play one of the twins. Right after Kaminey 2, Vishal will direct 2 States with Shah Rukh Khan for producer Sajid Nadiadwala.”

Priyanka Chopra excited about Lady Gaga’s visit to India…

International pop icon Lady Gaga is all set to show her jalwa in India. She will be here on a three-city tour.

The one Bollywood star who is super excited about the event is Priyanka Chopra.
In February this year, Priyanka had personally met Lady Gaga after attending her concert at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Priyanka had even invited the famous pop star to India and now that her wish is coming true, the actress finds it difficult to control her excitement.

“She was very keen on doing something in India and it’s great if she does make her way out here soon. I look forward to meeting her again,” Priyanka is quoted to have said.

Lady Gaga’s latest album Born This Way has won her many fans in India because of the ‘Desi’ remixed version of the title song featuring Indian music instruments like the tabla and sitar. Indian composers Salim-Suleiman have remixed the song.

Shahid and Priyanka are very much in love….

Shahid and Priyanka were recently spotted at a cricket match. Though the duo have tried their best to convince the world that they are single, their cozy moments are always captured.

The couple was spotted in Durban on a Sunday afternoon enjoying the T-20 match between India and South Africa. Piggy and Sasha feel in love during the shooting of Kaminey. Wonder why they keep denying it.

If buzz is to be believed, we hear that in the recent awards function, there was a small rift between SRK and Shahid. But last Saturday, on a flight from Mumbai to Durban, Piggy helped SRK and Sasha patch-up.

Says a source, “On the flight she opened a conversation between SRK and Sasha and also spoke to them about their common interests.

Soon the three were talking like old buddies, eating and joking.”

A romantic New Year for Shahid and Priyanka…

Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor’s relationship status has kept everyone in a confused state. And now, if buzz is to be believed, the duo are set for a romantic New Year’s Eve.

Having turned down a lucrative offer to perform on New Year’s Eve, Priyanka, is set to fly to Chandigarh to ring in 2011 with Shahid, who is shooting dad’s directorial debut Mausum there.

With such a thanda mausam in Chandigarh, the couple is surely gonna have an awesome and cozy reunion.

Shahid-Priyanka relax at a spa….

Guess all is well between the two lovebirds, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid kapoor. It is heard that the busy bee PC took some time out for a spa session with Shahid Kapoor. She joined him in Chandigarh where he is shooting for his father’s film Mausam.

The duo then slipped away to a luxurious spa situated on the Shivalik Hills, near Chandigarh, and spent some quality weekend time together. Must say, a wonderful way to rejuvenate and rekindle old flames.

Just a few days ago, Shahid tweeted, “Favere favere if manhoof (manhoos) fog ne parefan kar diya hai …. Morning all ..kal ganna chabaya tha .. Aaj gana gana hai ..”

Priyanka takes up a new social cause…

Priyanka Chopra has attached herself to a new social cause. Priyanka Chopra has taken on an initiative titled Wave that will sponsor the education of a group of girls and also help build a school.

A source reveals, “Priyanka is particularly interested in the education, especially that of the girl child. When the opportunity came by, she immediately decided to give her support to the initiative. Despite her commitments, PC has taken personal interest in meeting the group of girls who will benefit from the cause.”

The motto for the Wave initiative is ‘Adoption for Education’ and Chopra will also put together a performance for a concert to raise money to support the charity.

The source adds, “Muskaan and Nanhi Kali are the two NGOs that will work closely with Wave to help garner funds to build a school for the girls.”

PC confirms, “When I was asked to be part of this event, I didn’t need to think twice.
I wanted to be a part of what is an awesome idea: celebrating everything about women, recognising their immensetalent and drive. I’m honoured to be part of this wonderful initiative.”

Priyanka gets back at Bebo’s comments…

This week’s Koffee with Karan is going to be all spicy. Priyanka Chopra will be seen with Shahid Kapoor on the show. PC was a little rude and harsh while talking about her once good friend Kareena kapoor. She revealed on how people in the industry don’t take Kareena too seriously. Kareena was no less. She too had passed a taunt at Priyanka on the show earlier when she said: “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from.” .
Not to be outdone, Priyanka said, “I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where her boyfriend ( Saif Ali Khan) got his.” reminding the show host that she, too, had studied overseas and therefore had access to an accent just like so many others in Bollywood.

Well, I wonder why poor Saif is being dragged in this   .

PC did not stop there. she went on to take a dig at Bebo. “I’m flattered that Kareena thinks I am a good actress,” . “But otherwise I don’t think people take Bebo too seriously,” is what PC reportedly said.

And she hit one final nail when she was asked what she would steal from computers of Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid, Kareena and others. Known for her smart alec replies, PC giggled, “Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?”

Hmmm…Wonder what Bebo would have to say to that!

Karan Johar’s love-making scene with Priyanka …

Karan Johar got the biggest shock of his life when Vishal Bhardwaj, director of the upcoming flick Saat Khoon Maaf approached him to enact a lovemaking scene with hottie Priyanka Chopra. Karan had to play the role of a psycho husband – a sex maniac of sorts – who beats his wife.

Karan is quoted as saying, “From what angle do I look like a wife-beater? And how could I enact a scene making love to Priyanka Chopra! And that too as a sex maniac! There is no way I could do this.”

On hearing the script, Karan, without thinking for a second, said no and the role went to Irrfan Khan.

Lol! I wonder how a sensitive director like Karan Johar look like, beating his wife.

KJO’s most recent twitter posts states, “On my way to have a cup of ‘koffee’ with Shahid and Priyanka!!”

It is heard that earlier, when Shahid and Priyanka were invited as Karan’s guest on hios show, Shahid was not very keen because the last time when he came to the show it was with his then girlfriend Kareena Kapoor.

The news is confirmed with KJO confirming on Twitter that the episode was superb.

Priyanka Chopra brings a very large amount of sensuality into every project she is given.

In Karan Johar’s Dostana, the swimming costume shots came in only after Aishwarya Rai said ‘No’ to the film, and now Priyanka’s entry into Karan’s next, Agneepath 2, has ruffled a few feathers.

In fact, lately, there has been much dispute in Karan’s company Dharma Productions over Priyanka’s sensuality-quotient in their forthcoming remake of Agneepath.

The original character of the nurse (played by Madhavi) has been found a bit boring for Priyanka’s presence.

The character is now being re-written into a different professional space to accommodate Priyanka’s presence. All said and done, Priyanka will not be seen as a nurse in Agneepath 2.

Says Karan, “We can’t have Priyanka playing a nurse, please!”

Shahid Kapoor & Priyanka Chopra in 'Ishq Vishk 2'?

The trend of making sequels has caught on in a big way. In fact, the moment a film hits the bull's eye, most producers immediately jump at the idea of making a sequel to the film. The announcement of a sequel creates tremendous excitement within and outside the film industry and gradually, the film becomes a brand.

The latest news doing the rounds is that producer Ramesh Taurani is planning to make a sequel to ISHQ VISHK. Rumours are rife that Ratna Sinha will direct the film, which is expected to star Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. However, Ramesh Taurani denies the development completely, "It's untrue. We don't have a story for a sequel, so how can we announce the film in the first place?" But he confirms that Ratna Sinha did narrate a subject to him. "But it was for an altogether different film. Beyond that we haven't had any discussions," Taurani adds. 

Meanwhile, Taurani is gearing up to start RACE 2, directed by Abbas-Mustan. This film is likely to take off early next year.

Shahid-Priyanka are anjaana anjaani coz of Ranbir

Want to know what triggered Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to call off their relationship???

Well, the so called “couple” had a big fight over the Casanova boy Ranbir Kapoor.

Apparently, PC got pretty close to Ranbir during the shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani. Not only this. She also went ahead and signed another film opposite him, which obviously did not go down well with Shahid.

Says a source, “Shahid was getting jealous and increasingly uncomfortable about Priyanka’s growing proximity to Ranbir. He then confronted Priyanka about Ranbir.”

Apparently, when confronted, Priyanka retorted very strongly saying, “You have many friends who are girls. Do I mind that? And more importantly, you haven’t committed to me yet. Then why are you objecting to my friendship with Ranbir?”. 
It was post this fight that the two decided to end their relationship and go their separate ways.

Shahid and Priyanka had many ups and downs in their relationship, but this time it’s final; even their common friends are not mediating now. It’s all over.

Priyanka Chopra puts an end to all rubbish reports.

Recently, there were lots of roumors about Priyanka Chopra agreeing for marriage as per her parents’ wishes. But, Piggy Chops has rubbished all these reports.

Priyanka clarified on her Twitter account, “What is all this rubbish talk about me getting married! Pun-lease!! Not even close.. And hell-oo! There has to be SOMEONE to marry also na??!”

Not very long ago, PC was quoted in a tabloid saying, “I am ready to get married. I am just waiting for a guy to come and sweep me off my feet. If I get that kind of guy tomorrow, I don’t mind marrying tomorrow.”

Well, this statement of her’s, puts an end to matters.

Priyanka Chopra is the ‘Phuljhadi’ and ‘patakha’ of Bollywood…

The Anjaana Anjaani actress has always been a hot favourite among millions of people and despite few of her films not doing very great at the box office, she hasn’t lost her charisma.

Recently, in an online Diwali special poll conducted by MSN India, the Kaminey star has been declared the ‘Bollywood patakha’ and the ‘Bollywood Phuljhadi’ by the viewers. The beautiful Katrina Kaif came second.

People had to vote for the categories of Patakhas, Phuljhadis, Bombs, Grenades and Dhamakas. Priyanka turned out to be the hot favourite as she also won the ‘Bollywood Phuljhadi’ poll.

King Khan, Shahrukh Khan is voted the ‘Bollywood bomb’ while the perfectionist Aamir Khan was on top in the ‘Bollywood Grenade’ list.

aamir-Priyanka flicks clash!!!

An Aamir Khan film gets seat bumps in theatres – that’s for sure. So it’s understandable that director Vishal Bhardwaj is wary of competition from the superstar’s film Dhobi Ghat.

Everyone’s waiting for the next film starring Aamir Khan. It’s been close to a year when cine buffs last saw him on screen in 3 Idiots. The actor’s next film, Dhobi Ghat, directed by wife Kiran Rao, was earlier slated to release on February 25, but now it has been pre-poned by almost a month.

Reports say that due to the Cricket World Cup in February Aamir has decided to release Dhobi Ghat on January 21. But that’s also the date finalized by Vishal Bhardwaj for the release of his film Saat Khoon Maaf starring Priyanka Chopra as a serial hubby-killer.

So a clash between Aamir and Priyanka seems inevitable unless UTV, which is linked to both the movies, does a little shuffling in the release dates to avoid the clash.

Since Aamir is unlikely to change the release date of Dhobi Ghat, UTV will try to persuade Bhardwaj to release Saat Khoon Maaf on another date.

As buzz has it, former beauty queen Priyanka Chopra has also gone under knife to get sharper looking nose. The news came when Priyanka was spotted in Salman’s Being Human show with a dignified nose.

Reportedly, Priyanka was in London recently to fix her nose as her nose has been her cause of worry since long. However, Priyanka has not disclosed it herself as going under the knife to enhance once looks in Bollywood is one of the ‘best kept secrets’.
